Data Collection

FilterX does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.

The extension:

Local Processing

All filtering is performed locally in your browser.

FilterX reads visible post content on X only to determine whether it matches keywords you provide and hides matching posts in real time. This content is never stored or sent anywhere.

Local Storage

FilterX uses Chrome’s local storage (chrome.storage) to save:

• User-defined keywords
• Extension settings, such as enable/disable state

This data remains on your device and is not synced, shared, or transmitted.

Third-Party Access
